This process is more precise than traditional crown technology, eliminating the chance of human error. The process of creating the crown can be completed in as little as ten minutes.
Once the crown is completed in the milling machine, it will be placed in your mouth with adhesive and polished. At this time, you will be good to go and carry on with life as usual. With proper care, a CEREC crown can last five to fifteen years. You should avoid grinding your teeth and chewing on hard foods or objects to help extend the life of your restoration.
